The Core Principle
Utilities Bunker is built on a simple rule: your tool inputs and outputs belong to you. Every calculator, converter, and utility on this platform runs entirely in your web browser. The values you type, the files you load, and the results we compute never leave your device.
We do not have user accounts. We do not collect names, emails, or contact information unless you choose to send us a message through the contact form. We do not sell personal data to anyone, ever.
To keep the site free for everyone, we display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Those ads are personalized using cookies and similar technologies — see the Advertising section below for the full disclosure and your options for opting out.
What We Collect Directly
From you, directly, we collect almost nothing. The tools themselves transmit nothing to us. Here is the full breakdown:

Local Storage
Utilities Bunker uses your browser's localStorage to save your preferences locally on your device. This data is never transmitted to our servers. It includes:
- Theme preferences — your selected color mode (dark/light), custom colors, and accessibility settings
- Tool usage history — which tools you've used recently and how often, to power the "Most Used" section on the homepage
- Tool settings — last-used input values or preferences for specific tools
- Recent searches — your recent search queries for faster access
- Consent state — your choices from the cookie/consent banner
You can clear all stored data at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain.
Advertising — Google AdSense
This site is supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense (operated by Google LLC) as our advertising partner. Here is the full picture:
What Google does

- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the Internet.

Personalized vs. non-personalized ads
For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we use Google's consent management to ask whether you would like personalized ads. If you decline, Google will serve non-personalized ads instead, which use far less data (only what is needed to deliver and measure the ad).
For users elsewhere, ads default to personalized. You can change this at any time using the controls below.

Optional Analytics
If you opt in via the consent banner, we may load a privacy-respecting analytics script and a lightweight first-party beacon to count aggregate page views. Analytics is off by default for users in regions that require explicit consent, and you can decline it without losing any site functionality.
AI Integration (Optional)
Utilities Bunker offers an optional AI assistance feature. If you choose to use it:
- You provide your own API key (OpenAI, Claude, etc.)
- Your API key is stored in your browser's localStorage only
- AI requests go directly from your browser to the AI provider's API
- We never see, store, or proxy your API key or your AI conversations
- The AI provider's own privacy policy applies to data you send to their API
This feature is entirely optional. No tool requires AI to function.
Other Third-Party Services
In addition to Google AdSense, the site loads:
- Google Fonts — web fonts may be loaded from Google's CDN. Google's font privacy policy applies. We self-host fonts where possible.
- Optional per-tool APIs — a small number of tools (currency converter, IP lookup) make requests to public APIs from your browser only. Their providers' privacy policies apply to those direct requests.
Server Logs
Like virtually all web servers, our hosting infrastructure may automatically log basic request information (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, browser user agent). These logs are used for security, abuse prevention, and infrastructure monitoring. We do not analyze them for advertising or profile-building purposes.
Children's Privacy
Utilities Bunker is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through our contact form, please contact us and we will delete it.
Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information, and to object to certain uses (including personalized advertising). Because we do not store user accounts or profiles ourselves, most of these rights are exercised directly through your browser settings or through Google's controls linked above. Changes to This Policy
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes affecting how data is collected or shared will be highlighted on the site for a reasonable period.
